150,000+ Twitter Followers, an influence rate of 70%, number 2 Social media networker in Vancouver, hundreds of LinkedIn and hundreds more of Facebook followers reaching 18 million people daily. Just numbers? Sort of, but they are MY social media numbers.
In the beginning I got caught up in the trend like everyone. Wow, what a great way to sell people things on the internet. What if I didn’t want to sell anything but wanted to engage people in dialogue, sometimes funny, sometimes irreverent but always heartfelt?
As my numbers grew an interesting thing happened, masses of people started coming to my blog and actually read it. Then something else happened, people started hiring for my expertise. Read the rest of this entry

MP Guarnieri initially wanted to limit the salaries of the CEO’s of Charities in Canada. She also felt that charities needed to be transparent just like the great charities in the US.
MP Albina Guarnieri is a committed Member of Parliament who has been working for Mississauga East—Cooksville for at least two decades. She is the sponsor of this private member’s bill.

Folks, I’m not an activist but I am blunt. I don’t suffer fools and I refuse to let inequalities get past me. I wrote a blog about the Charities in Canada paying incredibly exorbitant salaries, and luxurious benefits to the CEO’s of the top ten charities. http://garybizzo.com/?p=574
After my blog post, a very committed MP in Ottawa, The Hon. Albina Guarnieri, P.C., M.P.
Mississauga East-Cooksville, Ontario initiated a Bill C-470 to limit these salaries. She is facing incredible opposition from the charities funny enough and needs your help! I have been asked to appear as a witness at the Standing Committee in the House of Commons to address my concerns as a private citizen to the arrogance of charities which feel they can ask you for your hard earned money to pay themselves incredible salaries.
Come on folks this is not the way to be a model to the poor, the downtrodden and the ill in our great country. These charities are so arrogant they have even started their own website to fight the bill www.notobillc470.com
Stand-up and send a note of your support to Albina Guarnieri NOW! Read the rest of this entry

OTTAWA – It seems that billion dollar tax scams don’t attract criminal charges these days. However, the Minister of National Revenue should at least take action against the charity CEOs who were complicit in one of the biggest taxpayer rip-offs in Canadian history. Read the rest of this entry

For 30 cents day you can help this poor hungry child live another day…or so the commercial goes.
A statement by one of the country’s top Charities, Plan International. Doesn’t it make you wonder why the overweight pitchman in the commercials with a dying hungry kid doesn’t feed the kid himself? Or reach into his own pocket for some money? The CEO of Plan International makes about $350,000+ per year plus bonuses. What are the bonuses for, more schmucks like you and me donating to feed the hungry kid (in his house)? Read the rest of this entry
