Boy has it been difficult to get back in the saddle in 2010.

I’ve been working on my blog – a little, planning for things to come and getting people in line to work with in 2010. I’ve got an SEO specialist, a social media engineer, a mind mapping expert and a couple of professional business coaches to work out some strategies with, oh I forgot the cute animal wrangler too.

I’ve been planning a trip for my Chinese agents to South America to work on a project I’m Project Managing. I’m setting up my coaching practice while finishing my APEC Certified Business Counselor course through Acadia University in Nova Scotia. I’m very close to finishing writing my book on Business Startups and signed on to co-author a best selling author buddy’s next mega seller book. He’s said I can write a monthly column for his national magazine as well so that will be kewl.

Did I mention I do have a full time job? Yep, I manage a government funded program with SUCCESS Business & Economic Development Centre that works with about 80 entrepreneur wannabees per year giving them the skills and knowledge to help them setup a successful business. My day job gives me incredible juice and motivates me to do the rest of my business endeavours. It gives me access to incredible folks and since I represent foreign governments and corporations in China and in Mexico and South America their work day fits my time off really well. I seem to be speeding up as I get older.

I’ve met an incredible angel investor group through Thealzel Lee at VanTec and look forward to working with them in the future. I’ve learned so much about angel investors in the past month. They have ‘chapters’ in Toronto, Bellingham and Seattle with whom they pass info back and forth and form little groups to finance high technology startups for big bucks.

This week I have meetings at Vancity Credit Union. I’m running for the Board of Directors again (4the fourth time). I believe if you want to make changes you must do it from within . Although Vancity is a large credit union with over 400,000 members it still has the ‘big bank attitude’. Let’s see what happens this year. Do I have time? I’ll find the time like I always do.
