A company has a good brand, recognized all over the world and sold in the hundreds of millions why would they want to change their name, their image or their marketing direction?
Remember when Coke became New Coke? I switched to Pepsi and never went back.
Changing a brand can be a disaster as Coke found out when they lost considerable customers to Pepsi. Changing the name of a product can truly be risky because it creates the illusion of turmoil, change of ownership; maybe the product changed kind of stuff. Pricing your products or service is a strategic tool, even a weapon in a good marketer’s hand. Pricing will make or break your business in a heartbeat. Imagine not knowing your costs and selling a large inventory of product 3 times cheaper than the total cost of selling them- ouch! You’d be out of business on your first big sale.

Firstly, Foundations, Social Enterprises, not-for profit Societies and Charities must be incorporated federally.
A Foundation provides funding to other charities so if you setup a society you can get funding from these organizations and government.
One way to make a Society more than a not for profit is to start an arms length or related Social enterprise corporation. While it doesn’t have charitable status it can give receipts to individuals and companies. The receipts would be written off under advertising or promotions. Read the rest of this entry
